Finally I've done these memory benchmarks at G505S as you requested ( memory installed: 2*8GB 1600MHz 9-9-10-27 ) memtest: 4874 MB/sec sysbench at Kubuntu 16.04.5 LiveUSB (systemd, very old kernel) - just 1325 MB/sec sysbench at Void Linux Nov2018 LiveUSB (no systemd, 4.18 kernel) - 2540 MB/sec Almost 2x difference just by changing OS. Same parameters have been used: ./sysbench --test=memory --memory-total-size=4G --num-threads=4 run or ./sysbench memory --memory-total-size=4G --threads=4 run Also tried 12G for both cases with similar respective results
As you see, it really matters under which OS you're running that sysbench

It seems like Dual Channel is not working properly on F2a85m.
sysbench memory test gives me only a bandwidth of 1700MB/s with my used 2x 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Ram sticks.
on my thinkpad W520 with 2x 4GB DDR3 it gives me the double bandwidth of 3400MB/s
thats one issue of many of the current status of the f2a85m board.
Anybody knows if there is still WIP on this board?
is there anything one could to do to improve the situation?
