Hi List,
i've started a port of coreboot to the Intel i5000 Chipset (http://www.intel.com/products/server/chipsets/5000p/5000p-overview.htm) last week.
The board i'm developing is a Supermicro X7DB8, with one QuadCore E5335 Xeon. There's not much working right now, with exception of the SuperIO chip, and basic CPU CAR setup (i'm using the Core2Duo code at the moment).
Currently work is going on at the FBDIMM setup and Memory Controller initialization. I'm attaching the current diff, but you should consider that as non-working code. I wouldn't send it to the list, if not Carl Daniel would have requested me to do so :)
Very, very cool! Unfortunatly I'm am not very familiar with the i5000 chipset but don't give up, keep up the great work :-)
