a deeper analisys showed me that both vanilla 2.4.19 and 2.4.20 don't 
have a well supported sis framebuffer; however, 2.4.19 with sis patch 
and 2.4.20-cwlinux have all the files to support it.

However I can't find a configuration key for the linuxbios 
powermanagement on 2.4.20-cwlinux. Is it enabled by default?
