Hm. This sounds like the lowest-effort solution, right?

We dont want to become ueberartistic here, and instead try to fix
things in the upcoming v3 without any linker magic.

Or unify all boards? (or is that an illusion?)

BTW: Config-abuild.lb should say

payload PAYLOAD

so that abuild can choose the payload during build time and replace it.
