How about we set up some guidelines how to proceed when adding support for a new platform that requires any blobs? My vague idea is as follows:

We already have a list of things required to go in with binaries checked into the blobs repo.
Sorry if that wasn't clear. I'm talking about coreboot support for new, blobbed platforms in general. I don't care that much about the blobs repo. Every time a new platform that requires blobs is added upstream, the community gets to maintain the code. And that often results to some degree in suffering.
Hence, I'd like to encourage to get some things sorted out before the support is added. Also to avoid the usual friction when somebody gets paid to add a blob and doesn't even know that there are people that might want to talk about it.
