SIS chipset

I have an ADVANTECH board based on the SIS 552 chipset. Is there any support for this board and chip set. I looked at the status: http://www.linuxbios.org/status/index.html There is an entry for SIS but no notes. epia and vga

Thanks to Ron and Eric's kind words yesterday, and me kicking my brain into gear, I got Linuxbios and Filo up and running on my epia yesterday. However, I now have a couple of other issues which I've come to a dead halt with. I've been trying to add vga support, having extracted the original vga bios using dd as per the Epia How To. This appears to be detected correctly during boot and the screen turns on, then flickers with some garbage on it. If I have agpgart enabled in the kernel I get a hard kernel hang when the agp chipset is detected - is this normal ? I've tried this with a 2.4.24 and 2.4.22 kernel with the same result. Also I never actually get any output on the VGA, just random noise and colours every couple of seconds. The memory on my Epia is also detected incorrectly as 64K rather than 128K. Freebios V1 still doesn't work for EPIA-M I as far as I can tell. My CVS check out and build of Tue Mar 9 10:23:00 2004 was unsuccessful. It seems that something is missing which properly activates VGA modes. I'm not sure if Ron or Dave have the time to finish this up, even though it's so close.... Tyan Tomcat i845GL (S2098)

I am not new to linux, just linuxBIOS :) cool thing I think, thanks to all for making such a thing possible. Now for my question.... I am looking to develop a linuxbios for the Tyan Tomcat i845GL (S2098) MB, it uses the i845GL chipset. I have seen some posts in the archives about 'do you support this yet' but did not find any conclusive answers. I am very willing to make this work if no else has, but I do need some pointers (or would greatly appreciate them) to get started. This board does have a 4MB flash so I would like to keep the BIOS in the BIOS (basically just be able to boot and have all that I can cram in the space available). As I said, I do have plenty of linux compile experience, and perhaps I am being a little gun shy on this, but I really really do not want to go and start makeing expensive paper weights. So any and all comments/pointers/help would be greatly appreciated, as would any pointers to 'best practices' and the such. ECC init on K8 systems

Just out of curiosity, why does the ECC scrubber zero only 2M chunks at once? Also, it seems that there's an 84ms built in delay. Is this something that can be tweaked to specific hardware? I was hoping that I could bring the delay down by using SCRUB_81_9us or bigger chunks or something.
