Many years ago I was tracking the LinuxBIOS project and was very keenly interested in it. Now, it seems that systems have gotten ten times slower to boot.
I have an HP Z840 workstation. It is a 56 processor machine and is very slow to boot. I don't have a lot of money and wouldn't want to brick it, but I am interested in attempting to get one machine working with coreboot.
Anyway, if anybody has any time for a newbie, I would appreciate any comments.
