After lurking on the list since march, I finally sent a request to Abit about this:
We afraid that we didn't support that LinuxBIOS.
Not much help to get there... Are there any tricks I can do to find out how to enable the flash write? Like checking the registers changed by awdflash in dos somehow? Regards Karl Erik Stefan Reinauer wrote:

Does this mean I'm stuck, or does anyone have a clue about where/how to find such info?
you can contact the mainboard vendor, or try to reenigne esrever it, if that is legal in your country. ndisasm might be your friend. :-)
