ebox-II SiS 550 flash_rom

I've been trying to get freebios V1 to work with an
ebox-II board that I have have.  It has the SiS 550 northsouthbridge
and some other cool stuff.  However, flash_rom refuses to recognize
the ROM chip or write to it.  Is there a flash_rom version that'll work
or do I have to modify the version that I currently have?
