Oh never mind, these are all miniscule (kbit range) parts. Sorry for the noise. On 19-08-11 13:21, Oliver Schinagl wrote:

I did find a pdf that was somewhat interesting:
http://www.msc-ge.com/download/pcn/macronix/pcn-10-037.pdf
it basically mentions/confirms it's an SPI/serial based 32Mb flash, dunno if that can help me find a pin-compatible chip :S hello oliver
MX25L3206EPI-12G
that chip is not special at all and can be replaced by (almost?) any 25-series flash chip with the same package (300mil 8-PDIP) and voltage rating (2.7 - 3.6V). of course there are corner cases, but in general there should not be a big problem with other vendors. if you have found an offer that suits you, you could ask us again... That is very interesting; I see conrad (http://www.conrad.nl) has loads of eeproms for about 1E for sale. I'd have to figure out details first, but things like EEPROM 25LC040/SN Microchip EEPROM 25LC256-I/SN Microchip EEPROM 25LC1024-I/SM Microchip etc etc seem like part nummers that should be what I'd want?<http://www1.conrad.nl/fas6/fh.php?fh_host=http://www1.conrad.nl&fh_session=/...> <http://www1.conrad.nl/fas6/fh.php?fh_host=http://www1.conrad.nl&fh_session=/...>
