Keep in mind that Intel RVP boards ship with Intel EC code, which is not compatible with Coreboot. You need to reflash it with Google EC - it's built as a part of Coreboot, or it can be built separately as well.

Better don't. The Firmware Descriptor and ME are orthogonal to coreboot. It's best to leave them in flash as they are once you have them working with the original firmware. If you use flashrom, you can use a layout file or the --ifd option and include only the BIOS region when writing.
