A call for emailing output of dmidecode and lspci to the list, some
discussion about what dmidecode does, drooling over fast boot times,
AMD's support of LinuxBIOS, Windows and BSD boot support, mention of
the recent video booting to X in 6 seconds, a thread listing boards
with socketed BIOS chips, request for 775 board with socket and
mention of EFI and that it may be reason for concern.
