Please don't forget to CC the coreboot mailing list. You could determine the chip's layout by looking on it: it has a dot near CS pin. As for cable/clip and programmer, check "Flashing BIOS chip with Bus Pirate" article at dangerous prototypes forums: it has a good review of SOIC8 test clips and also compatible with CH341A programmer. I'm quoting your message below, hope someone would help you with Intel-related questions

thanks for the answers!
although I've never flashed t530 to me it seems pretty obvious: usually you connect your 8 wires to SPI flash chip and doing the flashing, but this time you'll connect 7 wires like usual to your programmer, but 8th CS wire to programmers VCC instead of programmers CS, and that programmers CS will be connected to CS of another chip
The first problem is I don't know the layout of the first chip and especially of the second chip. I could assume it depending on other boards I found on the internet/coreboot wiki but I'm not 100% sure for the T530. Where do I find the layout of the two chips of the T530?
Second problem is how do I connect the second chip with the SPI programmer? I know which pins to connect, but I mean what cable/clip etc. do I need? What hardware do I need to buy?
