ATI XL Init in kernel 2.6.2

I have checked Kernel 2.6.2 for ATI XL No init in BIOS, the Makefile doesn't
include the xlinit.c and it is not called.

So patch is not properly merged with the kernel 2.6.2.

Did you try that ever?
