Most likely if your board is not plcc.
The BIOS chip is a tiny chip soldered on long legs, where the factory chip was.

Yes, though the BIOS chip looks much smaller, and its legs much longer, (the machine is away, so cannot access it, this is just from memory)
It is not the "other sort" (PLCC ?)
