I used 2.4.22 and CPU type is AMD64.
Actually I used Redhat 9 for AMD64 beta, and then compile the 2.4.22 in 64 bit mode. After that I can see the 8151.

We found that under normal bios, the AMD8151 is not present. Is there any bits to hide it ?
The under normal bios, you need to use the most update kernel or may be 2.
4.
22 to see the 8151.
this is 2.4.23. The 8151 is totally invisible, under normal bios, and totally visible, under linuxbios. Some trick in the hardware?
