For those not following OLPC closely, OFW has replaced LB as the bootloader on OLPC, starting with B3 (the first LX version). OFW-only was prototyped on B2, too (GX).
Making an B3 OLPC target might be sort of an interesting exercise, but it won't really end up getting used for anything.
Maybe it won't get shipped, but that doesn't mean it won't get used. OLPC-users/-developers can flash any firmware they like, correct?
