Yours is VT8233.
I don't know how they are different (couldn't find a datasheet online), but just try inserting this line around line 437 of flash_rom.c (inside enables[] = {...}) and see what happens:
{0x1106, 0x3177, "VT8233", enable_flash_vt8231},
This doesn´t work but my south bridge is a vt8235.
