My attepmt based on qemu vexpress-a9 is here: https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/23812
That seems useful. Thank you for the link.
I'm curious to see which board you'll choose as qemu target. The virt machine seems to have a buildin DTB generator, which might be handy.
I'm considering that I will use virt machine as you suggested. I think the goal of the project is that we can execute the following command: $ qemu-system-aarch64 -bios build/coreboot.rom -machine virt -cpu cortex-a53
I don't think we're having issues with too many mails on the list, so
it's really up to you: Some things may be more comfortably discussed in a more private setting, or live (whether that is in public on our IRC chat or in a more private video conference), but when you discuss things in the open, you have the chance to get a wider range of feedback and others get the chance to learn from and with you as well. Thank you for your advice. I will basically discuss on this mailing list.
I'll send my implementation ideas on this mailing list in a few days in order to get feedback.
Thank you, Asami

I will work on the project "Adding QEMU/AArch64 Support to Coreboot" as a
GSoC student.
Welcome to coreboot!
Is it ok to communicate with mentors via this mailing list?
Or, is it better to do it via video chat or direct email to avoid too many emails for other members?

Personally I discuss project matters publicly normally, moving to private conversation where it makes sense.
