The choice should be mutually exclusive. You either have ACPI manage the GPIOs via a PowerResource, or you have the OS driver manage the GPIOs. Having both results in the GPIOs being in an unknown state. I hope we can switch to using an enum to select the option down the road since having two bits is confusing and error prone.

I'm slightly confused - if we don't expose the GPIO via _CRS, how does the OS driver know what GPIO to use for a given device? There are lots of older Chromebooks in the tree currently set up this way for the touchpad/touchscreen/audio codec etc
