I'm in process to add more code from PMC as well here. Some prep work I'm doing here  https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/61532 to make pmc code common.

I agree, *notify* is bad name and it's not the IP block as well (basic rule for common/block) but at the same time, I wish to create this code as a module and like to call different IP block code.

What about renaming to `eop` (end of post) where post is `power on self test`. Typically, in legacy BIOS, eop is a event to let platform know that we are done with all operations.
