Due to the polymorphic PCI accessor functions and abused use of __SIMPLE_DEVICE__ and <soc/pci_devs.h> hiding things, it's not practical for me to do any work on this topic while there is huge amount of submitted source that is currently not build-tested and there is a longish patchtrain that would very likely need manual conflict resolutions to solve.
