Why is that?

I don't think it is correct. This folder is support for JSL and TGL. The fact that it is named as tigerlake doesn't seem correct to me. But, I think that can be fixed later. In general, I view this SoC folder as containing 3 things - common components for TGL/JSL, components specific to TGL, components specific to JSL.
