Good question. I think this needs much more context. What is an FSP-based
SMM handler? Are we talking about proprietary SMM code? This would completely
change the direction of coreboot (which isn't supposed to have runtime code;
and if it was unavoidable the code was open and minimal so far).

If proprietary runtime code is the direction you want coreboot to move towards,
this would be a topic for the mailinglist or leadership meeting.
