PS3, Line 9: For TP_EN has a abnormal peek pull high before BL_EN.
What does the touchscreen power sequencing have to do with the touchpad enable? What's the actual issue here?
Patchset:
PS3:
Removing the touchscreen power sequencing while leaving the "generic.detect" register(s) set in devicetree will result in the touchscreen being disabled due to no ACPI being generated.
Without visibility into the bug, this workaround makes no sense, and will result in the touchscreen being unusable outside of ChromeOS.

Maybe we can use this?
MRC version retrieval is supported by MTL FSP. The MRC version of the flash cached data will be compared to that of FSP-M before being loaded.

Yeah, like Nico said, I think it's usually better to revert first so that we don't need to make design decisions about a forward fix under time pressure. The forward fix has not been up for the 24h period and the rules for ignoring that period say it should be "as limited in scope as possible", which I think applies better to this revert.
Let me just put this in now before we discuss it to death so the tree doesn't remain broken. We can still go with Arthur's patch afterwards if we want (it should be easy to rebase), let's just take the time to discuss the different options there first.

amdfwtool: Use Makefile.mk for Makefile settings
When updating the Makefiles, to keep from having to update two files at
the same time, import Makefile.mk into the external Makefile. This
allows the bulk of the settings to be in a single location.
While I'm here, I adjusted the print statements to match the rest of
coreboot.

Sure, sure. That's why I said it also depends on the difficulty and that it's not a must ;)
I couldn't see much discussion about the fix before and/or comments about whether it's a fix or a hack. So I thought it's worth marking the thread as unresolved.
However, as I said, I don't want to pull a discussion here.
