I have been thinking about the location of this code. You are binding a function to another upon on a platform dependency.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have it in `mainboard/google/brox` for example. I do not think this is justified to have `CONFIG(EC_GOOGLE_CHROMEEC)` in `soc/intel/alderlake` while this is implicitly available in `mainboard/google/brox`.
