Well, regarding Python, also check out the discussion on CB:56410.
Blocking *whatever* completely just bc someone brought up bs arguments againts it (I don't mean yours!) isn't the right way IMO. By that, we will significantly limit contribution since not anyone is going to learn GO just to add a tool for whatever in `util/`.
Also, your wording in `Python ... deserves a special mention` just contributes to that bs discussion and is plain Python bashing for no reason. Thus, the -1 for now.
I agree, though, that we shouldn't allow any exotic languages in general.
