What kernel driver and modules are in use for those in the output of `lspci -v`? I've seen reports of drives connected to those chips not being bootable but working in Linux, and some stating that they don't work at all. I have a theory that the chip is defaulting to IDE mode, and depending on the distro/kernel configuration, a compatible driver may or may not be loading. I currently have a patch that switches the chip to AHCI mode: CB:85816
