I also had a look at EC related DXE code, not just PEI, but unlike the 7010, I couldn't find any extra init commands, or EC firmware uploaded in the DXE phase. There *might* still be some, but it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Maybe I should just sniff LPC with a logic analayzer and confirm it that way. But it works good enough as-is for my purposes.
