If you're curious, MRC will never run ECT on DDR4. This is because PDA (Per DRAM Addressability) is not stable before basic training (e.g. Receive Enable, Read MPR, JEDEC Write Leveling). At that point, one might as well do LCT (Late Command Training) instead.
