PS4: 
I'm a little late to the BERT topic. I don't understand the reasons to
put it outside CBMEM, it seems rather odd and a workaround to other
issues (even bugs if the OS sees type 16 e820 entries, cf. CB:45391).
Can somebody shed some light on it?
