For the record: Both my p2b-ls and p3b-f are still not booting, however this patch and the previous one in chain isn't to blame apparently. For one it goes well into ramstage before stalling, and as noted in commit message end results remains same. I probably have to bisect a year's worth of changes as I didn't leave myself a note of what was last known good...
