I can just speak for myself/9elements. I would really like to see that we have a configurable ramstage approach for LinuxBoot payloads if we remove the previous one. Most people don't seem to know but the Linux kernel supports PCI device enumeration and some other stuff. That's why multiple companies seeking such a solution.

BTW this CL has nothing to do with the ENV_PAYLOAD_LOADER stuff...
