is src/include/cpu/x86/mtrr.h is used only for intel ?
if so, there is some registers not referenced as in Intel® 64 and IA-32 Architectures Software Developer’s Manual.
for example: MTRR_DEF_TYPE_MSR is referenced as IA32_MTRR_DEF_TYPE in the Manual.
