Thanks Nico.
We're trying to make Kconfig.name to be used for selection only so that you don't need to dig between Kconfig files to see what's happening. If there are selects in Kconfig.name, it just makes things a little harder to understand.
I don't think that plan has been documented yet though. That needs to be done.
After we get everything moved, we can enable a linter to keep selects out of Kconfig.name.
