PS2: We found the problem why the coreinfo build failed: - flag -Wextra was set, which caused the warnings - the flag is set within a make recursion - since CFLAGS variable existed in the original environment, the -Wextra flag leaked - this is an expected behaviour of make: a variable is exported when using `export` explicitly OR when the variable already exists in the environment
