What do you mean by this? Why can OpenSBI not be updated? What do you mean by not compiling? Is there just a warning that needs to be suppressed?
People put quite some effort in making the riscv arch work. Do you really think removing it and calling it a burden is appropriate, without an in depth discussion on the mailing list? Fixing or suppressing warnings is a typical thing to do when updating a toolchain, not removing a key part of an arch...
