This caused a regression on the Lenovo T60 [1], so Linux had to be started with `maxcpus=1`.
Nico came up with the fix: mb/lenovo/t60: Fix override devicetrees (I6c26d633d1860cf9a5415994444e75ae1c2e59ad) [2].
