PS1: 
I may try to use UBSAN (General Setup -> Undefined behavior sanitizer support) to check if there's any undefined behavior in the code.
For compiler flags, I know GCC 11 has some new code generation scheme enabled by default (e.g. -fbit-tests for switch-case), but GCC 8 to 11 have 3 major versions, I don't think we can find the difference by just comparing the two versions.
