> No problem. I remember commonlib was BSD license where coreboot was GPL and that libpayload is BSD. Thought it may cause issues with licensing.

Stuff directly under commonlib/ is GPL-licensed, stuff under commonlib/bsd/ is BSD-licensed. If you think you can legally move/rewrite these definitions in BSD code, feel free to put them in commonlib/bsd/.
