There is no timeline. The patches are on our internal branch and upstreaming is a possibility but not a priority. One thing that is blocking me is flashrom. Our internal port relies on IFWI support in flashrom so we don't need to integrate IFWI in coreboot (which turned out to be too fragile for us; ifwitool is buggy, and also because we like to keep the original IFWI structure provided by Kontron). So it seems likely that I would start by upstreaming flashrom patches but this is more or less blocked by Google's upstreaming efforts there.
Please just go ahead with any work. As long as there is no public change on Gerrit from our side, it's our job to rebase on top of the public work.
