well, this touchscreen power sequencing method has been implemented for every other released board in the tree, without any issues. There's a good dozen or so brya owners running upstream coreboot with this patch. I don't see any reason to keep it out of upstream due to lack of testing on downstream distributions/with ChromeOS. We know it works fine there on all AMD boards (current and past).
