You are correct about _SB, spec says:
`All Device/Bus Objects are defined under this namespace`

However, let's please fix one thing at a time 😊 This code is pretty old now and someone would also need to push a kernel patch upstream to apply the same fix to the chromeos ACPI kernel driver and I would need to make sure they land in our tree at the same time so as not to break everybody working on ToT.
