Looks like, on client platforms, FIT µcode update gets applied to all cores, so updating µcode in MP-init is a no-op. https://software.intel.com/security-software-guidance/best-practices/microco...

If my understanding is correct, the only platforms which could run into issues with this change are model_206ax and earlier.
