If you plan to move things like DRAM size as well then I'd agree presistent_data may be a good region name. sram_data is not good since we should describe how it will be used instead of where it lives.

However, if we don't see any other usage and if the implementation will live in early_init  (e.g., we only have early init timestamps), maybe just keep calling it early_init_data, and revisit if we really see some needs of moving more data.
