Hi, As reported earlier by Vincent Pelletier: http://www.flashrom.org/pipermail/flashrom/2010-June/003410.html Probe and read works for this board and flash chip. I can confirm that erase and write also work. Tested with flashrom r1099. Logs attached. Thanks! -mattias

Hi, I've tested flashrom r1091 on an Asus P2E-M mainboard equipped with a Winbond W29EE011 flash chips. Probe/read/erase/write works. All flashrom commands run with the "-c W29EE011" option. Logs attached. Thanks -mattias

M4A79T partially compatible

Hi, thanks for the great tool. Just wanted to let you know that the ASUS m4A79T was compatible. When rebooting there was an error "Asus Express Gate - Installation Failed blah". Flashing again with the BIOS setup flasher made it go away. So i have changed the programming engine for the 25VF064C from "spi_chip_write_1" to "spi_chip_write_256". I have tested the 25VF064C with the new engine and it works fine. For the 25VF032B i have changed the programming engine from "spi_chip_write_1" to "spi_aai_write". I have tested this engine, too, and found it working (speedup was from 228 to 113 seconds). While testing i found that some commands needed by some of the algorithms are not in the OPCODE table. So i have implemented the on-the-fly reprogramming of the OPCODE table (in the ICH engine).
