Support for Dediprog SF100 / Multiple dediprogs

Hi all, I'm interested in the support for the Dediprog SF100. I've built flashrom with the DEDIPROG config enabled; there was a slight issue with the build, however on running it, flashrom recognises my device but fails to read it ( or, is very, very slow. ) Also, I would be interested in multiple simultaneous dediprog device support. I have access to several programmers and a variety of motherboards Long term I will provide patches myself. Short term, I would be happy to provide test & debug support for anyone who is making changes in this area and does not have access to multiple programmers & device combinations. Regards, Mike.

Hi Ronald, thanks for your report. There are various reasons why this can happen. It is not necessarily a sign that the board can not be upgraded with flashrom. A verbose flashrom log could give some additional hints... -- Kind regards/Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Stefan Tauner

The download you have found is 'just' a crosscompiled .exe that only supports external (USB) programmers. Flashrom Windows Port Status

Hi, I've read over at http://flashrom.org/Downloads that the latest Windows port only supports flashing via USB or FTDI. Downloaded from Idwer's site and see that only flashing via both interfaces are supported via libftdi.dll and libusb0_x86.dll. I want to confirm whether this is exactly the latest status of the Windows port? Hi, I requested the information of board and flash chip, and I will share it once i get this information... First i don't have dmidecode utility...... Today i executed with dmidecode utility ... I am getting some other warning... Could u please tell me any information about this or this is same as the previous error log..? I attached the new probe log file with dmidecode ... Here is a Patch (r1791) for adding "LE25FW406A". Tested: Probe -> Probing for Sanyo LE25FW406A, 512 kB: probe_spi_res2: id1 0x62, id2 0x1a Read -> ok Erase -> ok Write -> 512kb random data ok Verify -> ok It also adds "/* Sanyo */" description to the Sanyo-Chips. This is only a cosmetic thing.
