Confirmed working P8Z68-V-PRO/GEN3 works with 0.9.5.
WARNING: MAC Address of LOM [Lan on Mainboard] will be overwritten with 0x88,0x88,0x88,0x88,0x87,0x88 in place of real MAC Address.
MAC Address is stored in offset 0x1000 - 0x1005 of flashrom image. [verified for BIOS vers 0301, 0402, 3101, 3202].
Editing these addrs, with a MAC address affects the MAC address of the LOM, and remains between power downs.
Congrats on being more reliable so far than the ASUS provided tools, which bricked a board. hot-swapping a ROM on another MB and using flashrom v0.9.5 allowed me to fix. Passing on whatever I know as thanks.

Hi there and thanks for your report. Could you please send a verbose (e.g. flashrom -VV) log of flashrom running on that board? It is a bit surprising to see a report that this board works, while the "gen 1" version is locked down (http://www.flashrom.org/pipermail/flashrom/2012-January/008469.html).
Here you go.
I verified a successful flash via flashing with flashrom 0.9.5, and then a read and compare with a "BlackCat USB SPI Programmer".

flashrom -w followed by flashrom -r also works, and reports no differences.

thanks a lot! I have have added the board to our list with an appropriate note regarding the mac address and will commit that later together with other small changes.
