Firmware flashing/dumping for DVD-burners

Hi,

I did some googling and found some tools with functionality that maybe
could be integrated into flashrom.

flasher is a tool to dump/flash LG drives with Renesas chipsets. (GPLv3)

There is source code (for OS X) to flash firmware on Matshita drives:

At one point there was source available tool to also dump firmware
from Matshita drives. (Unfortunately the link referenced in this forum
