I bought the "Willem True USB Universal Programmer V2" with LPC/FWH adapter 
and would try to help out.
I installed the software in virtualbox and e.g. could monitor the USB port 
when I am using the programmer.

btw, everyone in the net seems to ask for the latest software... it can be
